2007 - North Coast 99 Best Places to Work
NorthCoast 99 is an annual recognition program that honors 99 great workplaces for top talent in Northeast Ohio. The program was developed and is presented by the ERC. ERC is Northeast Ohio’s leading and largest professional organization dedicated to HR practices, programs and services. Since 1999, hundreds of organizations have been nominated and applied for the award, and the program has recognized over 300 organizations for their ability to maintain great workplaces that support the attraction, retention, and motivation of Top Performers.

2007 & 2008 - World Class Customer Service
Barnes Wendling CPAs was recognized as an honoree at the Five-Star World Class Customer Service Awards in May 2007 and 2008. The World Class Customer Service Award is an honor sponsored by Smart Business Magazine that recognizes the outstanding service provided by companies, both internally and externally. Barnes Wendling was up against over seventy other top-rated companies, including FedEx Custom Critical, Marriott Hotels, and Continental Airlines.

Association for Accounting Marketing, Marketing Achievement Awards

The national organization, Association for Accounting Marketing presents the Marketing Achievement Award (AAM-MAAs) at their educational summit every year. The AAM-MAAs recognize outstanding achievements in the areas of accounting marketing and communications, and encourage the highest standards in excellence for all AAM members. To those in the accounting marketing industry it’s the equivalent to an Oscar.

2005 – Pillar Award for Community Service
Smart Business Magazine created the Pillar Award for Community Service by co-developing it with Medical Mutual. The Pillar Award program has three main goals: to publicize the issue of community service as it applies to the realities of today's competitive business world; to share creative ideas about how companies of all sizes have a positive impact in their communities; and to honor companies that go well beyond the minimum expectation of community service.
