Rosemary Rehner, CPA
is a director at Barnes Wendling. Her 15 years of experience in public accounting involves both private and public company clients.
Prior to joining Barnes Wendling in 2007, Rosie served as a senior manager for a large national accounting firm. Rosie has a strong
understanding of accounting and auditing of employee benefit plans and for profit companies under US GAAP
requirements. Rosie also has experience in assisting clients with
internal control reviews. Her background and experience with both
large and small organizations makes her a great resource for best
practices in financial reporting. Rosemary serves as the audit committee chair and benefit committee
co-chair for Greater Cleveland Volunteers.

Michael Pappas, CPA
is the director in charge of Barnes Wendling’s accounting and assurance services department. He has over thirty years of public
and private company experience, spanning many areas, including a specialization in employee benefit plan audits specifically,
multiemployer plans, Taft-Hartley plans, Unions, Defined Benefit, Defined Contribution, Pension, and 401(k) plans. He has successfully
consulted with clients of various sizes on plan-related matters including compliance issues, plan design, and financial reporting issues.
Mike recognized the challenges of performing quality employee benefit plans many years ago, and that is why we were one of the first Ohio
firms to join the AICPA Employee Benefit Plan Audit Quality Center. |

Laure B. Javorsky, CPA
is a senior manager in Barnes Wendling’s accounting and assurance services department. She has over twenty years of experience in
providing assurance and tax services to nonprofit organizations and closely held businesses; including manufacturers, distributors,
and professional service organizations. She specializes in audits of employee benefit plans, including 401(k), 403(b), profit sharing,
health and welfare, and pension plans. She has received extensive training from the AICPA by attending the annual employee benefit plan
conference the last several years. Her responsibilities include supervision and training of audit staff and interaction with client
staff and management to ensure the efficient completion of fieldwork and report preparation. Laure facilitates our annual in-house
training on audits of employee benefit plans. |
