Larry Friedman, CPA, MT is the director in charge of the Barnes Wendling tax department. He has over twenty years of experience specializing in S-corporation taxation, complete tax transactions, and corporate acquisitions and reorganizations.   Larry’s philosophy is to propose and implement aggressive yet defendable federal, state, and local tax planning strategies.  He has served as the lead client service director for outsourced tax functions, including a two-year outsourcing project for a Fortune 500 company.  He serves as a trusted business advisor to his clients, who consult with him regularly as a source of creative tax-saving strategies, research, and general business counsel. Larry’s sensitivity to the dynamics of family-owned businesses coupled with his expertise in business and personal taxation, make him a leader in the field of serving closely held businesses.  Larry and his team of professionals are regularly called upon to serve in the capacity of the “outsourced tax department” for most of our clients.  In this role, Larry has the ability to look strategically  at all of a client’s line of business, business ventures, and organizational structures to ensure the minimum tax liability solution.
