Rosemary Rehner, CPA
is a director in the accounting and assurance services department. Her audit experience in public accounting involves both private and public
company clients. Prior to joining Barnes Wendling, Rosie served as a senior manager in Ernst & Young LLP's Assurance and Advisory Business Services
group. Rosie has a strong understanding of financial reporting requirements under US GAAP requirements. Her areas of audit specialization include,
employee benefit plans, manufacturing, distribution, and professional services. Rosie also has experience in assisting clients with internal control
reviews, including implementation of Section 404 of the Sarbanes-Oxley Act. She also has a solid understanding of information technology internal
controls and can assist clients in strengthening their control environments for both financial and IT related processes. Her background and experience
with both large and mid-size organizations makes her a great resource for best practices in financial reporting and internal controls. Upon completing
intensive training on International Financial Reporting Standards, Rosie spearheaded a training session for our clients and for our team in the fall
of 2010. She is committed to staying current on this topic along with the continuous updates to Accounting Principles Generally Accepted in the United States of America.
