You will prepare corporate, individual, partnership, trust, not-for-profit, fiduciary, and other tax returns for high-net-worth individuals and mid-market clients; assist with tax planning, research complex tax issues, attend various tax trainings and department meetings, keep up to date on current tax trends, law changes and legislation.  Develop and adhere to an engagement budget, meet, or exceed charge hour goals, play a key role in mentoring interns, and represent the firm when interacting with clients.  You will participate in the tax scanning and verifying process and organize incoming tax information. You might be asked to participate in college campus presentations and/or recruiting events.

Basic Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s degree in accounting
  • 1 public accounting internship preferred
  • Licensed CPA and active in the state of Ohio
  • 2-4 years of tax experience at a public accounting firm (preferably at a regional firm or in private client services)
