CLEVELAND, OHIO, Oct. 6, 2023 – Barnes Wendling CPAs has been selected as a 2023 Weatherhead 100 company by Case Western Reserve University Weatherhead School of Management.
The Weatherhead 100 awards were established to celebrate Northeast Ohio’s spirit of entrepreneurship and to reward companies that serve as a beacon to all the region’s businesses. This year, the 35th annual Weatherhead 100 awards ceremony will recognize the region’s fastest-growing companies based on revenue from 2018 to 2022.
Companies are recognized in one of four categories. Barnes Wendling CPAs was recognized in the Weatherhead 100 Winners category, which recognizes companies that have demonstrated big growth in net sales over the past five years from at least $100K to at least $1M. The other three categories include:
- Weatherhead Enterprises are fast-growing companies with 15 or fewer employees or net sales of less than $5M last year,
Weatherhead Centurions are fast-growing companies with at least $100M net sales last year and help drive the region, and,
Weatherhead Emergent Businesses to Watch are companies in business for two to four years with an increase in sales.
